Join us: Unity programmer
We are looking for a unity programmer for a 4 month contract July to October, remote. Previous experience with Ink or similar required.
About the organisation
Digital Liberties is a co-operative using games to challenge, educate and improve our world for the better. We were behind the viral election video game CorbynRun which saw 150,000 downloads in one week and coverage across all major media in the UK.
The team for this project is four person small but made up of award-winning creatives. As a co-operative, we value ethical working conditions and as a studio, we want to give game developers the opportunity to shine.
About the project
We will be creating a narrative mobile game that harnesses the power of games to inspire empathy. Our inspirations are Bury Me, My Love, The Breakfast Club and Skins.
The game is for a UK charity called The Challenge. They help immigrants integrate into society and run programmes to combat racism, extremism and xenophobia in the UK.
- Assist the narrative designer with Ink
- Implement Ink into Unity
- Implement features and bug fixes
- Input into creative decisions
- At least one previous project in Unity
- Fluent in C# and Ink
- Previous experience importing Ink or similar
- Comfortable working remotely
- Excellent communicator
This is a chance to join an award-winning team to build a game that will not only move players but also create a positive impact on society.
Please send your cover letter, CV and portfolio to Rosa Carbo-Mascarell, firstname.lastname@example.org, by the 27th May.
